Christmas Eve
Arrive at the hotel and relax after your journey in the St Leger Bar or in the lounge in front of the roaring log fires and meet your fellow guests. Join us in the lounge from 4pm for homemade scones served with lashings of fresh cream and cups of steaming hot tea.
The bar will be open of course for you to partake in a festive drink or two before a delicious hot and cold buffet is served in the Neilsen Suite at 7.30pm.
Our ‘pub christmas quiz’ will begin at 9pm in the bar – with complimentary drinks for the winning team.
Merry Christmas
Our full English breakfast will be served this morning from 8am. Spend a leisurely morning with family and friends in the lounge or St Leger bar and for a little fresh winter air why not explore the hotel gardens or the small village of Barnby Moor.
Traditional Christmas Luncheon will be served at 12.30pm in the Neilsen Suite with a special visit from Father Christmas and hopefully for those of you whom have been good, a present or two.
Christmas cake and tea will be served from 5pm in the lounge to keep you going until our cold buffet at 7pm in the Neilsen Suite.
Boxing Day
After breakfast this morning why not take a short drive into Retford and see our local Grove and Rufford Hunt set off over the Nottinghamshire countryside for the tradtitional boxing day meet.
Mulled wine and mince pies will be served on your return before a light lunch of home made soup and sandwiches from 12pm.
At 1pm your coach arrives to whisk you away to the historic city of Nottingham but not to see Robin Hood, you are off to see Cinderella at the Theatre Royal starring the hilarious Brian Connelly as Buttons.
On your return to the hotel just time for a quick ‘40 winks’ then time to don your glad rags and dancing shoes for our gala dinner and dance.
Sparkling Prosceeco will be served from 7.30pm and dinner served at 8.00pm. Dancing after dinner to the Steve Love Band until the early hours.
27th December
Depart after breakfast this morning or stay another night the choice is yours, but we sincerely hope you have had a wonderful Christmas with us at Ye Olde Bell.

Extra night dinner bed and breakfast £50.00
Rates are based on two adults sharing a double or twin room. A non refundable deposit of £45.00 per person will be required when making your reservation and the remaining balance is due before the 1st December 2008. Any reservations made after this date will be required to pay in full.
