We are delighted by the many positive comments we receive from guests about our fabulously refurbished bedrooms. Each one of our 49 rooms has been individually styled by Hilary herself with great passion and enthusiasm, incorporating many original features such as oak beams and leaded windows. Restful shades from a traditional palette are enlivened by drapes, throws and cushions in an array of rich silks, damasks and contemporary fabrics.
Our contemporary bathrooms are bright and spacious with many featuring claw-footed roll topped tubs and double walk-in power showers ~ all with luxurious toiletries. All our rooms are equipped with a flatscreen TV, hairdryer and hospitality tray.
Single Rooms
Decorated and furnished to a very high standard our single rooms provide ample space and have good sized bathrooms.
Classic Rooms
Our Classic bedrooms are all individually decorated and superbly furnished. Many have period features and some are ‘cottagey’ in feel. All are equipped with power showers and a number have bathtubs too.
Superior Rooms
Elegantly styled with sumptuous fabrics, antique furnishings and attractive artworks, our spacious Superior rooms are finished off with many personal touches. Many of these rooms have stand alone claw-footed roll topped bath tubs.
Suites
Each one of our 3 suites has a unique design and character. ‘The Bowness’, a romantic four-poster suite, has a medieval air with old gold and plush red chenille. ‘The Victoria’ is “Victorian Versace!”, whilst ‘The Lady Jane Suite’ is quietly elegant.
