Our romantic 17th century coaching inn, in the Nottinghamshire village of Barnby Moor near Retford, rose to fame and fortune in the days of stagecoaches and highwaymen.
Today Ye Olde Bell Hotel and Restaurant offers the finest traditions of a fully refurbished country house hotel in extensive grounds combined with modern comforts and facilities. Our St Leger Bar and Bistro is at the heart of the hotel and offers guests an informal alternative to the elegant oak panelled 1650 Restaurant.
Ye Olde Bell has long since been one of the region’s best loved venues for conferences, meetings, banquets, weddings and celebrations of all kinds.
We are conveniently located for the A1, M1 & M18 with Doncaster, Leeds, Sheffield and Nottingham all within an hours drive. We are 11 miles from Robin Hood Airport and only a 10 minute drive from Retford Mainline Station.
