Welcome to Ye Olde Bell Hotel & Restaurant

Having recently fully restored our wonderful 17th century coaching inn, we are now enjoying sharing this legendary hotel with you. In the rural countryside village of Barnby Moor near Retford Nottinghamshire, Ye Olde Bell dates back to the days of stagecoaches and highwaymen when it first provided a comfortable stopover on the original Great North Road!
 
Our passion has been to retain the traditional character and sense of history – even choosing to keep the creaky floorboards! Traditional log fires, comfy leather sofas and antiques complement modern power showers and fluffy duvets!  All our individually styled bedrooms, suites and four posters are admired by everyone from the business guest to the honeymoon couple!  The ambient St Leger Bar & Bistro contrasts with the elegance of the oak panelled Restaurant 1650 and Club Lounge.
